Homecooked! :)

Nothing beats a homecooked meal! Dinner time ❤

My mom cooked this delish meal for dinner. Tuna in olive oil pasta sprinkled with parmesan cheese, crispy fried chicken and garlic bread -YUM! 😀

Inspired by the tuna pasta in Cafe Lidia, this is my mom’s original recipe and it is relatively easy to make.

Tuna in Olive Oil Pasta

Ingredients:

1/2 cup minced garlic

1 red onion, chopped

2 cans tuna flakes in oil

about 1 cup olive oil

pepper to taste

500 grams noodles, cooked according to package

Preparation:

Cook garlic in 2 tbsp. oil until slightly brown and fragrant. Add chopped onions. Add in tuna (do not drain). Add the remaining olive oil. Mix in the noodles. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

To make homemade garlic bread:

1 whole baguette, sliced diagonally

about 1/2 cup melted butter or olive oil

2 tsps garlic powder (or more, depending on your taste)

dried parsley

Mix everything together and spread on both sides of the sliced baguette. Slightly toast in the oven.

Cheers! 🙂
